The Birth of Sadvaidyasala (1913)

Sadvaidyasala was born out of a vision to provide natural, holistic health solutions through Ayurveda. Inspired by his mother, B.V. Pundit established Sadvaidyasala in a small town near Mysore, starting with just four workers. From its humble beginnings, the company soon gained popularity for its high-quality Ayurvedic products and remedies that adhered strictly to ancient texts like Charaka Samhita and Sushruta Samhita.

As Sadvaidyasala grew, so did the demand for its products, including the widely loved Nanjangud Tooth Powder, which became a household name. During the 1950s and beyond, SVL expanded its product line to include over 200 classical and proprietary Ayurvedic formulations, including popular remedies like Rose Gulkand, Sarasaparilla Syrup, and Bhavana Shunti. The company’s dedication to authenticity and quality earned it a reputation that extended beyond Karnataka, making it a trusted brand for natural health solutions.
